This past week at Magical was 💅🏼POLISH WEEK💅🏼. 7 dedicated days to finding ways to polish and shine your favorite Chrome extension so it is easier to use and better at saving you time.

These updates are found on the newest version of Magical, you can update the extension yourself now.

I use Magical for text expansion, notes, or to send messages

  1. Search templates
    Use the new search bar to find and select your template, instead of scrolling. Perfect for power-template users with lots of templates. No more scrolling to find the perfect template.

  2. Track your time saving
    Understand your total time saved in Magical on the top right corner of the Magical panel. Watch that ticker just keep going up and up.

I use Magical to move information into sheets or web forms

  1. Show only useful info labels
    You no longer see labels for information that is missing, unless you're editing labels. Notice how none of the labels say "not showing". So much neater 🧽 🫧 . I use Magical to move information into sheets or web forms

I use Zendesk in my customer experience work

  1. Sync Zendesk macros with Magical templates.
    Keep your Magical templates in sync with your Zendesk macros as they change or get added to Zendesk. Turning this sync on will:

    • Allow you to edit your messages to customers in Zendesk, while still using the best-practice language

    • Save you time from manually updating your Magical templates when the macros change

    • Help you use your templates in other tools besides Zendesk

    • Give you a backup of your macros in case you are switching tools

Go to your workspace and click on your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to sync Zendesk & Magical. Please note you will need to update to the latest version of Magical and you will need to be signed into Zendesk for the sync to begin.
